Introduction to the Patriarch Hall: Located on the west side of the Guanyin Hall, it is the earliest abbot's room in the temple. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it was converted into the Patriarch Hall to worship the ancestors of the past dynasties. The hall originally contained statues of the first to ninth abbots of Tanzhe Temple in the Qing Dynasty and portraits of the tenth to nineteenth generation abbots.
