Introduction to the Royal Road: The Royal Road Square from Duanmen to Meridian Gate covers an area of 30,680 square meters. There are 100 left and right court rooms on both sides of the Royal Road. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, there were six sections of buildings, also called six sections of corridors ( To the south of the left and right gates of the palace (officials, households, and the offices of the six ministries of rites, military, punishment, and industry), there is the right gate of the temple (the divine kitchen gate) and the left gate of the shrine, which leads directly to the Ancestral Temple and the Sheji Altar (now closed). The north court room to the left and right gates of the palace is where princes, civil and military officials gather and wait for the court. Various temporary exhibitions are held in the left and right court rooms from south to north. The north side of the left court room is where the armed police national flag guard is stationed.
