Tiananmen Square is the world's largest city center square and the site of numerous major political and historical events in New China. Tiananmen Square covers an area of 44 hectares, 500 meters wide from east to west and 880 meters long from north to south. The ground is paved with light-colored granite strips that have been processed with special technology.
Tiananmen, formerly known as Chengtianmen, was built in the 15th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1417). Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty built Beijing in the 15th year of the Yongle reign, and the palace was completed in the 18th year. Tiananmen was also built at that time.

1. The flag-raising time changes throughout the year according to sunrise and sunset. Visitors who want to watch the flag-raising ceremony are advised to check it the night before.

Tiananmen Square: free and open;

Chairman Mao Memorial Hall : No tickets are sold, and you need to queue up at the designated location of the staff to enter;

Tiananmen Tower : 15 yuan/person;

National Museum of China : Free visit after reservation

Front door Climbing the building: 10 yuan per person for adults and 5 yuan per person for students

Duanmen Tower: 10 yuan/person
