Introduction to the Tianhou Ancestral Temple: The Xianlianggang Tianhou Ancestral Temple was built in the Song Dynasty. It was originally the Lin family ancestral hall. After Mazu ascended to heaven (987 AD), worship to Mazu began, and it became one of the earliest Mazu temples. The existing building was rebuilt in the original style of the ancestral temple in 1984 by Hong Kong villagers who raised funds.
