Introduction to Hao Gong Temple: The Hao Gong Temple in the second courtyard is located directly north of Wenchang Palace and is three rooms wide. This is where Hao Yu used to give lectures. In front of the room hangs a cursive inscription by Hao Yu "Zhizhi Gewu" "Tang" plaque. On July 15, the 22nd year of Kangxi's reign (1683), Hao Yu died of illness and took office in Guilin. When the bad news reached Tieling, everyone in the academic circles and Yingang mourned, so the "Zhizhi Gewu Hall" was turned into the "Hao Gong Temple", where his spiritual tablet was set up and worshiped all year round.
