Introduction to Zuogongliu: Zuogongliu was planted by Zuo Zongtang, a famous official in the Qing Dynasty, from 1866 AD (the fifth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty) when he was transferred to the governor of Shaanxi and Gansu until 1881 (the seventh year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty) when he was promoted to Minister of Military Aircraft.
In addition to his great military achievements in the northwest (mainly in Gansu), Zuo Zongtang also made many achievements in developing Hexi.
