Introduction to mass graves: From April 1998 to December 1999, 208 superficial skeletons were unearthed in an excavation area of 170 square meters. The skeletons were scattered and scattered, showing the characteristics of a hasty and collective burial after an abnormal death. The site is low-lying, has no graves and most of them have no burial tools. Four Japanese bullet casings (warheads) and some relics of the victims were unearthed. After identification by experts in forensic science, medicine, history and archaeology and verification by various instruments, the bones are those of victims of the Nanjing Massacre.
