Introduction to the Temple of the Heavenly King: The Temple of the Heavenly King is the first palace in the mountain gate of Wenshu Monastery and is integrated with the mountain gate. It is a single-eave hanging mountain-style building with a height of 8.3 meters. It was first built in the 45th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1706 AD) and rebuilt in the first year of Daoguang (1821). In the middle of the main hall, there is a seated steel statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva, 1.7 meters high, which was cast in the ninth year of Daoguang reign (1829). There is a painted seated Vajra statue on the left and right sides of the entrance of the hall, which is one of the Buddhist protector gods. There are two painted sculptures of heavenly kings on the left and right sides of the hall, each 3.3 meters high. They are Buddhist protector gods. At the back of the hall is a steel-cast statue of Amitabha, 2 meters high, which was cast in the ninth year of Daoguang reign (1829).
