Introduction to the Dharma Hall: The Dharma Hall, also known as the Medicine Master’s Hall, is the place where Wenshu Monastery preaches precepts and lectures on scriptures. The palace is a Xieshan-style building with double eaves and a height of 12.60 meters. It was first built in the 36th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1697 AD) and expanded in the 12th year of Jiaqing (1807 AD). In the middle of the hall, the top of the hall is enshrined with the undressed statues of Medicine Buddha and the twelve Yaaksha generals. On the left and right are the statues of the Eighteen Arhats, the Eighteen Jialan, and the Twenty-Four Heavens.
