Zhenwu was even more puzzled and asked how such a thick iron pestle could be ground into a thin needle. The old woman took advantage of this and said: "Grinding an iron pestle into a thin needle will make it happen naturally." After hearing this, the prince suddenly realized and returned to the mountain. , practiced again, and finally achieved enlightenment and ascended to heaven, becoming the "Zhenwu Emperor", and Mozhenjing was named after this.
Mozhenjing is also known as "Chunyang Palace". The Taoist temple is slim and exquisite with a compact layout. The existing Mozhenjing was rebuilt in the second year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1852 AD). It was restored as before in 1984 and has more than 50 temple rooms. The area is 1700 square meters. The main building, the Patriarch's Hall, is a three-bay hall. The temple was originally dedicated to a statue of Zhenwu young man. In front of the temple were buried two "iron needles" as thick as a bowl. They were black and shiny, symbolizing the iron pestles that my mother used to sharpen. The railing beside the hall is raised high, supporting a well pavilion, with overlapping eaves and carved ridges, flying in the air, light and elegant. There is a well in the pavilion, with a cast-iron statue of an old mother grinding a needle built into the upper niche. A fossil of a "right-horned beast" is preserved under the well platform. According to research, it has a history of more than 200 million years.
