Introduction to the Seven Star Tree: The Seven Star Tree is located under the Seven Star Rock. According to legend, there is a pool here. There are seven stones in the pool that are as beautiful as the Big Dipper. They sparkle on a clear night, so it is called the Seven Star Pool. After a landslide occurred and the Qixing Pond was engulfed, seven huge cedar trees grew. At night, their leaves glowed like the Big Dipper, hence the name Seven Star Tree.
Next to the Seven Star Tree, there is a small peak that resembles the top of Wu Tianzhu Peak. Its size is just right to be placed on the top of Tianzhu Peak, so people call this place Xiao Wudang.
According to legend, the Wudang Golden Summit was originally occupied by Wuliang Buddha. When Emperor Zhenwu was granted the title of Wudang Mountain, Wuliang Buddha refused to give up his throne. After the two parties discussed, Wuliang Buddha was willing to give up the eight steps of land. Who knew that the eight steps of land measured by Zhenwu were actually 800 miles away. Zhenwu said to Wuliang Buddha, I only receive incense, but you can receive blessings. After saying that, he cut off the top of the mountain with his sword, and Wuliang Buddha flew here together with his small stone temple and turned into a small Wudang. To this day, there is a small stone hall of Wuliang Buddha on Xiaowudang. In the past, the procession of offering incense to the mountain would recite: "The Patriarch receives incense, and Wuliang Lord receives blessings."
