Introduction to Lashao Temple: Lashao Temple is also called the Big Buddha Cliff. It was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. On the steep cliff, there is a statue of Sakyamuni, which is more than 30 meters high, sitting in lotus position on a lotus platform, with one standing on each side. The Bodhisattva who is more than ten meters tall. Under the lotus platform, there are three rows of reliefs of mythical animals: unicorn, green lion and white elephant. There are still some Bodhisattva statues and Buddhist niches left and right of the Buddha in the cave. A Sakya Buddha statue with a height of more than 40 meters was built in relief on a huge cliff. Two-thirds of the cliff surface was once covered with murals, and the existing part is extremely precious.
