Introduction to Beitai Ye Doufeng: Beitai's name is Ye Doufeng, with an altitude of 3061 meters. It is the highest peak among the peaks in Wutai Mountain and the highest point in North China. It is known as the "Roof of North China". Lingying Temple on the mountain was founded in the Sui Dynasty and faces south. It originally had three gates and a giant plaque reading "Edict to Build the Great Taipei Summit" hangs on the gate. The east and west rooms have three built-in stone tablets, which record the construction of Lingying Temple in the past dynasties. The south gate of the temple is also called the Nantian Gate. It is said that placing a horse next to the Nantian Gate can make people have good fortune and good luck. Yinfeng Pagoda is located in the east of Dragon King Hall. It is a major miracle on the top of Beitai. It was built in memory of Zen Master Yinfeng, an eminent monk in the Tang Dynasty.
