Introduction to Mao Zedong’s Former Residence Exhibition Hall: Mao Zedong’s Road Residence Memorial Hall is located in the abbot’s courtyard of Tayuan Temple in Mount Wutai. In the spring of 1948, Mao Zedong led the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to leave Yan'an, passing through northwest Shanxi, and headed for Xibaipo, Hebei Province, where he lived during the period. The left room of the main house in the backyard is Mao Zedong's living room. The interior is furnished as it is, with a military quilt on the kang, a wooden table on the floor with an inkstone and a bamboo tube with a brush inserted in it, a wooden chair in front of the table, and a brazier on the square platform between the wooden table and the edge of the kang. Put a copper teapot on the shelf. There are three east rooms in the backyard, the middle room is the main room, and the two rooms on the left and right were the bedrooms of Zhou Enlai and Ren Bishi respectively.
