Introduction to Minnan Buddhist College: Minnan Buddhist College was once deaned by Master Taixu, the leader of contemporary Chinese Buddhism. He used the Buddhist college as an experimental field for his reform of Chinese monk education. It has become a well-known Buddhist institution of higher learning at home and abroad, and has cultivated a number of outstanding students. It is the earliest Buddhist institution in China.
