Introduction to Brennan Torpedo Launching Station: It was built between 1892 and 1894. It was formed by digging a rock cave on the shore of the headland. There are also water storage reservoirs, observation posts and rail tracks nearby. The Brennan torpedo was invented by Irish-Australian Brennan in 1877 and produced with the consent of the British War Office in 1886. The torpedo currently on display in the torpedo launch station is a replica.
