The Hong Kong Coastal Defense Museum is the first museum in Hong Kong with the theme of coastal defense history. The museum is located at 175 Tung Hei Road, Shau Kei Wan, Eastern District, Hong Kong Island. It was renovated from the century-old Lei Yue Mun Fort in Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong Island, covering an area of 34,200 square meters. At a cost of HK$300 million, it will not only preserve the monuments and relics, but also increase tourists and citizens’ understanding and interest in the history of Hong Kong’s coastal defense through exhibitions and educational activities.Attractions distribution:

·Walk for 10 to 15 minutes from Exit B2 of Shau Kei Wan MTR Station
·Passing bus: Citybus No. 85
·Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at 10:00 am There is a free shuttle bus between the museum and Henghua Village MRT Station from 00:00 to 5:00 pm.

Coastal Defense Museum ticket prices:
HKD 10 for adults, HKD 5 for children and seniors; 30% discount for groups of 20 or more people.
Scenic area opening hours:
The museum is open from Monday to Wednesday, Friday to Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is free on Wednesdays; it is closed on Thursdays, the first and second days of the lunar calendar.
