Introduction to the Xiangyang Palace: In the first year of Zhengtong in the Ming Dynasty (1436 AD), Zhu Zhantushan moved from Changsha to Xiangyang and became King Xiangxian. In the fifth year of Zhengtong (1440 AD), the Xiangyang Palace was built. In the 14th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1641), Li Zicheng conquered Xiangyang and proclaimed himself Emperor Xinshun. He established the capital in Xiangyang and called it "Xiangjing". He once set up a branch palace in the Xiangyang Prince's Mansion, and later burned the Ming Prince's Mansion. In 1993, the local government imitated the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty and built the gate and main hall of Prince Xiang's Mansion on the north side of the green screen wall.
