Introduction to Siling Ancient Bridge: The stone arch bridge spans over the canyon and creek pit formed between Siling and Zhuwo Ridge. It is located in the original Siling Village of Miaoqiao Community. It was the original town of Dinghai County where residents of Xiaosha Township must pass through. The bridge deck is about 13 meters long and 4 meters wide. The stone bridge arch is 3 meters wide and 6 meters high. This bridge is the oldest existing original stone arch bridge in Zhoushan. It is entirely made of mountain rocks, which is rare in China. It reflects the exquisite bridge-building craftsmanship of the ancient Xiaosha people. The exact construction year is currently difficult to verify, but judging from the year when the nearby ancient post station was established during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, the bridge should have been built before that. The whole bridge brings people a sense of nostalgia for the past.
