Introduction to Guandi Temple: Guandi Temple is located on the east side outside the south gate of Xin'an Ancient City. Founded in the 40th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1612), it was built by Zhang Wanji, a general in charge. The original building was a three-bay, two-depth, open-top structure, including a front hall, an open-top hall, and an apse hall. The apse hall is now destroyed. It was used as the "Bao'an County Council" during the Republic of China. It was renovated in 1997 and is now managed by the Xin'an Ancient City Management Office.
