Introduction to the Zhenhe Tiexi: The first Zhenhe Tiexi on the Yellow River was built in 1448 when Yu Qian, the famous national hero of the Ming Dynasty, was the governor of Henan. The Tiexi is 2.04 meters high and 2.66 meters in circumference. Yu Qian's name is cast on its back. He wrote "The Iron Rhinoceros Inscription on the River Zhenhe". It was buried underground by yellow sand due to the flooding of the Yellow River. It was dug out during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and has been preserved to this day.
