Iron Tower Introduction: Southeast of the back peak of Beigu Mountain, there is a four-story iron tower called "Weigong Tower". It is one of the only six remaining iron towers in my country. The iron tower was first built in the first year of Dingli in the Tang Dynasty (825). It was built by Li Deyu, the governor of Runzhou in the Tang Dynasty, for the "destiny blessing of Emperor Zimu (Tang Mu Zong)". After being destroyed and rebuilt many times, the tower now has four floors. The first and second floors were made in the Song Dynasty, and the third and fourth floors were cast in the Ming Dynasty. The existing pagoda base (i.e. the lotus seat) and the body of the pagoda have exquisite patterns, such as clouds and water patterns, two birds with lotus petals, dragons playing with beads, Buddha statues, etc. The shapes are exquisite and vivid, showing the iron-smelting work of the working people in ancient my country. Superb craftsmanship.
