Introduction to Laojun Terrace: is cylindrical and angular, 8 meters high and with a bottom area of 706 square meters. It is surrounded by large bricks and filled with earth, and a crenellated female wall is erected on top, similar to an ancient city wall. There are main hall, east and west side halls and a mountain gate on the platform. Embedded on the front wall of the hall are three Ming Dynasty steles (passages), including "Yulong Remains", "Morality True Source", and "Confucius Asking for Proper Places", and two steles were sponsored by the Qing Dynasty. There was originally a bronze seated statue of Laozi in the hall, and an iron pillar in front of the left side of the hall, which is said to be Laozi's "mountain whip". Behind the main hall was Laojun's alchemy room. There are also thirteen ancient cypresses on the platform, and there are thirty-three stone steps under the mountain gate, in response to Laozi's saying of ascending to the thirty-third level of the sky.
