Huanglongxi Ancient Town is located in the southwest of Shuangliu County, 38 kilometers away from Chengdu City. How to get there:

Bus route:

1. Tourist line: There are direct tourist buses to Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area at Xinnanmen Bus Station (Tourist Distribution Center) and Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station, with a fare of 14 yuan; Pengshan County You can also take a shuttle bus directly to the Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area from the bus station, and the fare is about 6 yuan.

2. Bus: Take the 808 bus from Shuangliu Passenger Station and the 821 air-conditioned bus from Huayang Passenger Station, both of which can go directly to Huanglong River.

Self-driving route:

1. Chengdu direction: Take the Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Expressway, cross the Dajian Overpass and leave from the Xinjin East/Puxing exit; follow Xinpu Road→ Dahuang Road → Drive on Section 4 of Huanglong Avenue.

2. From the direction of Meishan and Leshan: Take Chengle Expressway and exit from Xiejia/Pengshan exit; follow Pengxie Road → Changshou Road → X062 → Huanglong Avenue.

travelling guideline:

1. Public bicycle tours are launched at 7 sites in the parking lot inside the scenic area, outside Huanglong Hotel, Huanglongxi School, and Huanglongxi New Covered Bridge. The rental points are located at the tourist reception center of the scenic area administration. Visitors only need to show their ID card and pay a deposit of 100 yuan to apply for a "green card" and travel happily by bicycle; after using the bike, the deposit will be refunded with the card.

2. Every year during prime tourist seasons and holidays such as Spring Festival, Tomb Sweeping Day, summer, and National Day, the ancient town launches activities with different themes, such as treasure hunts, beer festivals, etc. The most worth watching is the Spring Festival dragon lantern dance custom in this "Land of Fire Dragons".
