Scenic spot introduction:

Sanyuan County Museum is located in the Sanyuan City God Temple. The Chenghuang Temple was built in the eighth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1375). It is a palace-style building. More than 40 individual buildings, such as buildings, halls, corridors, courtyards, squares and pavilions, are arranged in a balanced and symmetrical manner on the vertical and horizontal axes. The five corridors and courtyards extend in depth and on both sides of each other. There are three gates, four archways and five double-eaves palace towers distributed on the central axis. The main buildings in the temple, such as the Yingmen, the theater tower, the bell and drum tower, the offering hall, the worshiping hall, the accompanying hall, and the sleeping hall, have their own characteristics. It embodies the characteristics of ancient Chinese architecture: regular plane outline, reasonable overall layout, rigorous structure, proper density, exquisite carving, and elegant decoration. It is located in the middle of Dongqu'an Street, Sanyuan County.

Sanyuan Museum currently has 2,425 cultural relics in its collection, including 10 first-class cultural relics, 108 second-class cultural relics, 329 third-class cultural relics, and 1,972 general and unclassified cultural relics. Yaozhou kiln celadon, calligraphy works by Heici and Yu Youren, calligraphy and paintings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and cultural relics unearthed from the tombs of Li Shou and Zang Huailiang in the Tang Dynasty are world-famous. The museum's basic exhibitions include "Exhibition of Cultural Relics Unearthed from the Tang Dynasty", "Exhibition of Yu Youren's Calligraphy", "Exhibition of Paintings from the Yanjun Temple in the Tenth Hall", and "Exhibition of Sculpture Art of the Past Dynasties".
