The Shanxi Merchants Museum in Beijing is currently the world's largest and richest special museum on Shanxi merchants. Its purpose is to promote the culture and spirit of Shanxi merchants. The collection covers many categories such as account books, letters, manuscripts, tickets, seals, banknotes, ticket plates, advertisements, packaging, plaques, currency, weighing instruments, measuring tools, calculation tools, transportation tools, sacred and Buddhist ritual vessels, and daily utensils.
