Zhang Fei Temple, also known as Zhang Huanhou Temple, was built to commemorate Zhang Fei, a famous general of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. The temple is located in Panshi Town, Yunyang County, Chongqing City. It is known as the "three wonders" (unparalleled writing, unparalleled calligraphy, and unparalleled engraving) and is known as the "land of literature and art" and "a scenic spot in Bayu". Zhang Fei Temple was first built in the late Shu Han Dynasty, also known as Zhang Huanhou Temple. After generations of repairs and expansions, the existing building area is 1,400 square meters. In Chongqing, you can take a long-distance bus at Chaotianmen Transportation Square Bus Station or a speedboat at Chaotianmen Wharf to Yunyang County in 5 hours, and then take a ferry to Zhang Fei Temple at Changxizi Wharf in Yunyang County (one ferry every hour).
