Scenic spot introduction:
The Wuzu Temple was granted the title of "The Ancestral Court of the World" by the emperor. It is located in Dongshan, 16 kilometers north of Huangmei County, Hubei Province. It is also called Dongshan Temple. It was first built in the fifth year of Yonghui in the Tang Dynasty (654). It is the dojo of Hongren, the fifth generation founder of Chinese Zen. It is also the holy place where the Sixth Patriarch Huineng received the Dharma and received his mantle. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty ordered the construction of the Fifth Patriarch Temple and renamed it "Dadong Middle Mountain Temple". Emperor Wenzong of the Yuan Dynasty gave Master Hongren the title of "Zen Master Miaoyuan Pujue" and changed the title of the temple to "Dongshan Wuzu Temple", referred to as Wuzu Temple. The Wuzu Temple was built on the mountainside. The pavilions, pavilions, terraces, temples and monks' houses are all covered by green trees and green bamboos. They are connected by double doors and connected by paths. It is a typical gallery-style layout, full of garden interest, with "winding paths". How to get there:
From Huangmei County, you can take a bus directly to the foothills of Dongshan Mountain. After getting off the bus, you can climb along the stone path and pass through Yitianmen and Ertianmen to the mountain gate of Wuzu Temple.
