The Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum is the place with the most complete historical and material materials about Jewish refugees in Shanghai, and is a must-visit for Jews in Shanghai. The museum is located at No. 62 Changyang Road, Hongkou District. It was built as a private house in 1907. In 1927, Russian Jews raised funds and converted it into the Moses Synagogue. During World War II, it became a religious activity center for Jewish refugees.

Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum Former Site of Moses Synagogue , two exhibition halls and a small atrium square It is an important part of the "Tilanqiao Historical and Cultural Area" and aims to witness and commemorate the history of Jewish refugees in Shanghai. The main building of the memorial hall is a three-story blue brick wall, decorated with horizontal red brick strips, with traditional arches on the doors and windows, and the mountain-shaped entrance has some Jewish architectural features. Above the gate is the "Star of David", the symbol of Judaism. The architectural style is simple and steady, and the indoor stair handrails are exquisitely carved.
