Scenic spot introduction:
The former residence of Lin Boqu in Changde is the place where Lin Boqu, the famous revolutionary and host of the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China, lived in his childhood and youth. The scenic spot is characterized by red, green and ancient colors, with three lines of life display, natural scenery and ancestor worship. It tells the life story of Mr. Lin and displays the pastoral scenery, becoming an important red tourist destination in northwestern Hunan.

Lin Boqu's former residence is located in Liangshuijing Village, Xiumei Township, Linli County, about 13 kilometers away from the county seat. The former residence faces north and faces south, with a construction area of 857 square meters. It has three entrances. There is a patio between each two entrances. There are 14 main rooms and 5 miscellaneous rooms. There are six exhibition rooms inside to display pictures of Lin Boqu in various historical periods. , photos and cultural relics. There are rice fields in front of the former residence, tea mountains in the back, a drying field on the left, a pond on the right, and a thousand-year-old cypress with a waist circumference of about 4 meters in the center of the drying field.
