Introduction to Weiyuan Shaofang: As far back as the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, more than 400 years ago, people had a history of using highland barley as raw material to make wine using local methods. The highland barley wine produced by this local method is called motel. At the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, merchants from Shanxi, where Fenjiu was produced, built the "Weiyuan Shao Fang" in Weiyuan Fort, integrating Xinghua Village and the local Tu people's distillation brewing techniques, using highland barley as raw material and using the "Weiyuan Ancient Well" method. "The natural well water was carefully brewed, and finally the mellow, translucent and prestigious "Weiyuan Shaju" was brewed.
