Shuidonggou Tourist Area in Ningxia is a holy place where humans thrived 30,000 years ago. It is the earliest Paleolithic cultural site excavated in my country. It is known as "the birthplace of Chinese prehistoric archeology" and "historical witness of cultural exchanges between China and the West."

Shuidonggou Ancient Human Cultural Site is located in Shuidonggou Village, Linhe Town, Lingwu City, Ningxia, covering an area of 7.8 square kilometers. It was discovered here in 1923 by French paleontologists De Chardin and Sang Zhihua. The Shuidonggou site is the earliest Paleolithic cultural site excavated in China. So far, more than 30,000 stone tools and 67 ancient animal fossils have been unearthed here, recording a picture of ancient human survival 30,000 years ago.
