Piazza Navona is a beautiful square famous for its Baroque art. It is located in the center of Rome, 240 meters long from north to south, and has a broad oval outline. The Baroque buildings around it and the beautiful fountain in the center of the square attract many tourists. Piazza Navona was built on the site of the ancient Roman arena built by Emperor Domitian in the 1st century AD. It was turned into a market at the end of the 15th century. How to get there:

Piazza Navona is about 300 meters west of the Pantheon and a 5-minute walk away. Walk west from Piazza Venezia along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II for about 15 minutes and turn right at Palazzo Massimo. Buses 70, 87, 186 and tram 116 all pass by Piazza Navona.
