Yuelu MountainScenic The scenic spot has the reputation of "the most beautiful place in Yuelu, the best in Chu and Xiang". Yuelu Mountain is one of the 72 peaks of Nanyue Hengshan. The scenic area is located in the western suburbs of Changsha City, Hunan Province, facing the Xiangjiang River in the east. It is an urban mountain-type scenic scenic spot. The scenic spots that have been opened in the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area include Lushan Scenic Area and Juzizhou Head Scenic Area. The landscape consists of hills, low mountains, rivers, lakes, and natural flora and fauna. How to get there:
Yuelu Mountain: Changsha City has buses such as No. 106, Lishan Special Line, No. 202, No. 305, Lu No. 1 Road, and No. 132, which can directly reach YueLushan Scenic Area.
Orange Island: Take bus No. 1 or 16 in Changsha and get off at Dachun Bridge and walk there; you can also walk to the riverside and take a ferry to Orange Island Park, speed boat 20 yuan.

Yuelu Mountain Ticket Price:
Yuelu Mountain: Free, sightseeing car 20 yuan/person; cableway up trip 30 yuan/person, down trip 25 yuan/person, full package ticket 50 yuan/person.
Yuelu Academy: 30 yuan
Orange Island: Free, Beach Park tickets are 50 yuan/person.

travelling guideline:
1. Orange Island: Fireworks are set off every Saturday from May to October at 20:30-20:50 and New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve and Lantern Festival. The best viewing spots are around Du Fu Jiang Pavilion; the display time will change slightly every year.
2. Yueli Mountain: The best time to watch the red leaves in Yuelu Mountain is from the end of November to the beginning of December every year. Depending on the seasonal temperature difference, it may be slightly earlier or later. Aiwantei is the best place to watch the red leaves. In addition, you can also take the ropeway to watch the red leaves.

2. South Gate of Yuelu Mountain → Five-wheel Pagoda → Banshan Pavilion (rest) → Lushan Temple → Baihe Spring. Xiaoting Rock → Cai E’s Tomb → Huang Xing’s Tomb → Long Corridor → Jimu Villa → Cableway
3. East Gate of Yuelu Mountain → Cableway → Jimu Villa → Monument of King Yu → Corridor → Xiangguling, Birdsong Forest → Yinxin Stone House → Lushan Temple → White Crane Spring. Smiling Rock → Tomb of Jiang Yiwu → Tomb of Liu Daoyi → Qin Liming Tomb → Aiwan Pavilion → South Gate
4. East Gate of Yuelu Mountain → Ropeway → Jimu Villa → Monument of King Yu → Corridor → Xiangguling, Birdsong Forest → Yunlu Palace Flying Stone Return Bell → Wan Scenery Garden → Bronze Statue of Xiao Jinguang → Chuanshuipo Reservoir → Five-wheel Pagoda → South Gate
