Scenic spot introduction:

The Minwang Temple, also known as the Zhongyi Minwang Temple and the Minwang Temple, is dedicated to Wang Shenzhi, the king of the Five Dynasties of Fujian. The Temple of the Prince of Fujian was originally the former residence of Wang Shenzhi, located on Qingcheng Road, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It was converted into a temple in the third year of Kaiyun of the Later Jin Dynasty (946). In the seventh year of Kaibao of the Song Dynasty (974), Qian Yu, the governor of Wuyue, was ordered by Qian Chu to rebuild the mansion. It was the temple of King Zhongyi of Fujian. It was rebuilt in 976 AD (the ninth year of Kaibao) in the Northern Song Dynasty. The temple was destroyed in the Yuan Dynasty. In the 29th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1601), it was rebuilt according to the order and renamed the Prince of Fujian Temple. The current building was built in the Ming Dynasty and renovated in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. The overall building generally maintains the Fuzhou architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. The ancestral hall faces south from the north. Arranged along the central axis from the main gate are the door wall, vestibule, sacrificial gate, back courtyard and main hall.
